Self-supporting FTTH flat drop cable

Self-supporting ftth drop wire either called figure-8 aerial drop wire, designed for easy and economical installation to connect the final users to telecom network.

Figure 8 aerial drop cable is an important part of FTTH line, usually contain one or more fibers and reinforced with messenger wire, strength members and outer sheath to provide good physical performance during application. Jera offers three kinds of figure eight drop wire:

FRP wire and FRP rods reinforced figure 8 cable

The application of butterfly type drop wire suitable to be used when small size and stensile strengths required on middle span or last mile network constructions. The max capacity of this cable is 4 fibers, fiber type can be made of G657 A1,A2 according to request. The material of strength wire or strength rods can be choose upon different application demands. Cable sheath can be made of UV proof LSZH or PVC, color option is black or white color.

Now we have mature production line to produce ftth drop cables, and we have our own laboratory to do a series test for aerial ftth cables according to IEC-60794 standards.
