SPECIFICATION

It can substitute for the tension clamps including bolt type widely used in present line. The set is simple in structure, two legs of the preformed armor rod intertwist a blank pipe, with a twisted ring as its backside.The blank pipe would produce a great holding strength when it enlace the conductor. Jera developed this strand wire guy grip to grip strand wire during installation on single wood pole associated with distribution construction or concrete tower.

Jera strand wire guy grip were made of hot dip galvanized steel and covered by special sand and glue to improve the friction between cables.

APPLICATION

Installation of this grip don’t require and protective rods or side splices, it can be installed straight on the fiber cable jacket. However, when the tension strength is high, it should be applied helical ADSS grip with splice protector in order to protect fiber core from damaging during tensioning .When the tension is under 9KN, with thimble or without it.
