Once the ripcord is removed, which release the shrinking energy of silicone sleeve. Then the sleeve is shrinking to the original size.

SPECIFICATION

Silicone rubber cold shrink tube also called Cold shrink cable tube is a supercharged rubber sleeve that is pre expended over an inner breakaway reinforced by ripcord (polymer spiral). Once the ripcord is removed, which release the shrinking energy of silicone sleeve. Then the sleeve is shrinking to the original size.

The cold shrink rubber tube is applied to protect communication and power cables and connectors. We recommend its application for protection of fiber optic cable, or other communication cables during FTTH, FTTA deployment, together with fiber optic splice closures , termination boxes, since it more advanced compared to heat shrink tubing.

The rubber cold shrink tube is made of rubber silicone. The overall body is insulating which will not cause electric shock during filed application.
