Specification

Guy thimble U-42, other called cable rope thimble is work as an interface part to connect the guy grip or guy wire. It’s widely used on the dead-end pole line, usually connects with the preformed tension clamp to support and protect ADSS or OPGW cable during telecommunication line constructions.

Dead end guy thimble is made of is made of high strength, UV resistant thermoplastic, reinforced by fiberglass. The manufacturing process is plastic injection technology, which is available at Jera line factory.

This plastic thimble structure is very simple and small. The guy thimbles are bent with a smooth internal contour and the smooth curved channel is to prevent stress concentration on point. The plastic thimble is usually applied with dead end guy grip as a assembly to tension and secure fiber optical cable during aerial FTTH line construction.
