Spiral vibration damper,VS-02

Spiral Vibration Dampers are designed to eliminate the damage caused by Aeolian vibration and reduce overall vibration on bare cables. Made of weather-resistant, non-corrosive plastic, dampers have a large, helically-formed damping section sized for the cable. It’s can be used with optical ground wires (OPGW) and all dielectric self-supporting (ADSS) cables.

Jera’s Spiral Vibration Dampers using its anti-vibration part to produce antihunt action to the wind vibration, consuming the vibration energy that produced by the cable running under the action of laminar wind,to prevent the destruction of gold tool and fiber optic cable,which mainly used for ADSS cable.

The sizes and geometry of dampers influence the amount of energy that will waste against aeolian vibration, vibration damper will be chosen according to specific span and conductor requirements.
