This preformed tension dead-end grip is typically used in the installation of exposed conductors, electric transmission & distribution lines, and overhead insulated conductors. It can replace the tension clamps (including the widely used bolt-type ones) currently employed in power lines.

Featuring a simple structure, it consists of two "legs" of preformed armor rods twisted around a blank pipe, with a twisted ring at its rear end. When the blank pipe wraps around the conductor, it generates strong holding force.

This strand wire guy grip is independently developed by Jera Line.
