Hardened SC/APC patch cord either called Hardened Fiber Optical patch cord，is a patch cord for outdoor optical fiber communication. Its unique connection design enables close connection between optical fibers and meets the highest level of waterproof and dustproof specifications (IP68). Thanks to these features, Fiber OptiTap SC APC Hardened patch cord is able to be installed and used outdoors and in harsh environments.

The fire protection grade maybe chosen by the customer according to CPR, mentioned in EN 50575. The test maybe conducted according to IEC / EN 60332-1-1.
