Fiber Optic Drop Cable with Steel Rods other called bow type cable is designed to used indoor or outdoor, on last mile installation routes to connect final users to telecommunication network. Fiber optic cable are constructed from two optic fibers, reinforced and protected with special material to have good physical properties during fiber to home (FTTH) deployment.

Two of 0.4 mm diameter steel strength member/rod.

LSZH jacket sheath, UV protected.

Optical fiber of Single mode G.652.D or G.657A1, G.657A2 grades of fiber standards.

The exact fiber core standard maybe chosen by customer. The optical fiber is color protected, according to TIA/EIA 598 or IEC 60304.

The Steel rods maybe produced of 0.5 mm diameter up to customer request. Strength members maybe extra protected by galvanization treatment.

LSZH is a sheath material is halogen-free (no chlorine and fluorine). This material does not produce dense smoke and does not produce toxic gases when burned. The fire protection grade maybe chosen by the customer according to CPR, mentioned in EN 50575. The test maybe conducted according to IEC / EN 60332-1-1.
