Ftth drop cable steel wire and FRP rods reinforced, 2 fibers other called self-support fiber optic cable is designed to used indoor and outdoor, on last mile installation routes to connect final users to FTTH or GPON line. It’s constructed from two fiber cores, reinforced and protected with special material to have good physical properties during applications.

This Figure-8 drop cable is made of two fiber cores, one 1.0mm diameter steel wire, two 2*0.5mm diameter FRP strength member and LSZH sheath. Fiber core can be made of G.652.D or G.657A1, G.657A2 grade fiber which could be chosen by customers. 1.0mm diameter steel wire and two 2*0.5mm diameter FRP rods provide superior mechanical strength during outdoor application. Cable sheath is made of LSZH (Lsoh Low Smoke Zero Halogen) which can reduce the toxic and corrosive gases produced during combustion.
All of our fiber optic drop cable passed a series test according IEC 60794 standard, such as +70℃~-40℃Temperature and humidity cycling test, Tensile strength test, mechanical impact test, Fiber optic core reflection test and etc.
The package of this drop cable is plywood cable reel with carton box. The pallet packing method is available as well, check more details with our sales.
